NAME
nfo_devvercmp() - Allows to compare device vers. and/or
its id string.
SYNOPSIS
ver = nfo_devvercmp(restype, name, unit, minver, pattern);
WORD nfo_devvercmp(LONG, UBYTE *, LONG, UWORD, UBYTE *);
FUNCTION
This function allows to quickly compare version and/or id
string of a device that is on the disk or in the memory.
INPUTS
restype - Type of op. There are two types. One that allows
to load the device into mem. for the inspection
and one that scans the memory for that device.
name - Name of the object, with ".device" suffix.
unit - Unit of that device.
minver - Minimum version of the object.
pattern - Pattern that can match something in id string.
This argument can be NULL if there is no need to
search for the pattern.
RETURNS
Function returns -1 on miss/error or object version.
