NAME
ctl_setsmparams() - Allows to set modeid and/or depth
in 'screenmode.prefs' file.
SYNOPSIS
res = ctl_setsmparams(filename, modeid, depth);
BOOL ctl_setsmparams(UBYTE *, ULONG *, UWORD *);
FUNCTION
This function allows to manipulate modeid and/or depth
in OS file that is used to define display properties.
INPUTS
filename - NULL terminated string holding filename.
modeid - Address of ULONG container that defines some
value or NULL if data is not to be set.
depth - Address of UWORD container that defines some
value or NULL if data is not to be set.
RETURNS
Returns TRUE upon success or FALSE if operation couldnt
be completed.

NOTES
Passing NULL to 'modeid' and 'depth' at the same time
is considered no-op.
If file to be modified does not exist then it will be
created.
